Fundraising tips for you

Raising a few pounds for charity needn't be difficult. The simplest ideas are often the most effective!

  • If you're attending a 123sing! event simply make sure you make a donation on the day
  • If you're holding your own event you could ...
  • Ask your singers, participants or audience to make a small donation
  • Serve tea, cakes, biscuits, or other treats in return for a donation
  • Learn a round with friends or family and raise sponsorship for keeping it going as long as you can
  • Hold a sing-along-movie night in your home.  Charge £5 entry to friends and family and put on a showing of The Sound of Music, Singin' In the Rain, The Wizard of Oz or your favourite musical and sing along as loud as you can
  • Ask local pubs if you can hold a collection at their regular karaoke night

  • Remember to print out our poster about 123sing! and The Classic FM Foundation and stick them up around the event so that singers and audiences know how they will be making a big difference to children's lives through music.

If you need collecting tins or buckets or any fundraising advice, you can contact The Classic FM Foundation at 020 7344 4899 or email 123sing@classicfm.com.
